Shore for many years and enjoys being part of
the local Albany community. A qualified Dispensing
Optician and co-owner of the practice, she is
also a wife and mother. With more than ten years’
optical experience, (6 of those at Albany Optometrists),
Sarah will find the right frames and lenses for

Owner
After moving from China 16 years
ago, Ming settled on the North Shore and has lived
in Albany for the past 11 years. With a Bachelor’s
Degree in Optometry from the University of Auckland,
she joined us as an Optometrist in 2007 and is
now co-owner of the practice. Her responsibilities
include eye testing and diagnosing any vision
and eye health issues. She is also qualified in
therapeutics, which enables her to prescribe certain
medications for the treatment of eye conditions.
Samantha Davey
Optical Assistant
Samantha has worked in the optical
industry for the past four years. Prior to this
she worked as a special needs’ therapist
at the Centre for Autism and Related Disorders.
As our Optical Assistant since 2007, she is studying
towards becoming fully qualified as a Dispensing
Optician. Samantha has a great eye for choosing
glasses and will find the perfect frame to suit
your look.
